Terrible Service

Ordered a tool on that site and never received it. They shut down the site for a long time and now opened again. But their customer service is terrible. They told me that the staff left the company and can't help me the solve the proplem. Asked me to wait. And I waited and waited...

Gearbest Fraud Alert!

After exchanging some mails with the seller I made a last effort stating again the problems of the product I received ...
"1. The Item I've ordered clearly stated that the OS will be Android 11.0. The One I got is Android 10.0
2. The card holder does not have room for two sim and a memory card as it was described in the site to order.
3. The 5G reception of the phone never reaches 1.Mbps!!!!! other phones just beside this one go up to 200Mbps! The phone gets power on and receives calls all right and of cource you see the pic clearly but IT IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED AND IT;S 5G ANTENNA DOES NOT WORK!! "
Their answer:
Dear so sorry for this. These are the specifications provided by the manufacturer. If you want a full refund you need to return and pay the return shipping fee. Or as an apology we can give you a 20% refund and you still can keep it.

my answer:
"I'm sorry too, see the link of the product I ordered ... It's not the product you 've sent to me. The specs you refer to are the ones of the product you sent NOT OF THE PRODUCT I ORDERED, thats why I 'm forced to report this particular sell as a freud... take a look of the pictures, and more over ... the fact that the 4G, 5G antenna of the product is NOT working, is in the specifications provided by the manufacturer too?? "

their response :
if you have high requirements for the phone I recommend that you choose other brands of cell phones in our store.Such as OUKITEL,DOOGEE,Blackview and Ulefone

my response:
"Are you serious? You sold me something different that the one I ordered and paid for, which is NOT WORKING as it was suppossed to, and your answer is that if I want something better I have to order something else of your products, that means I should trust the people that lied to me, pay them more money and make a new order!!! How can I be sure that you wont sent me the same rubish again! Sorry guys, you are completely unreliable!!! What I Expect from you is a honest replacement of the product."

Sorry guys, you are completely unreliable, to say the least, Im a member of two cunsumers associations in Greece and in the U.K. and I intent to go go skyhigh with your attitute, while everything could be solved with a simple replacement of the rubish you sent me with something like the ordered one that WORKS! Sorry ....

BIG SCAMMERS DO NOT USE

After going back and forth for a year, I finally succumbed to getting my refund for an item I never received through G wallet. Then these people tell me that I can only use it on a selection of products. And it's all items I don't even want???? Why would I want to spend $90 on low-quality tshirts?

Scammers

Scammers. Bought an electric scooter that stopped working after a few months to which they replied electric scooters were not covered by warranty (scooter was used 3 times).
Low grade product with an impossible to read user manual (absolutely trash translation).
Dodgy business model. Low quality products and service. I'll avoid like the plague. Shouldn't be legally allowed to operate in the European Union market if they don't abide by its laws. I regret everyday that I didn't escalate this to the small claims court.

Not serious

I ordered a drone a month ago and the seller still can't prove that he sent it. He's lying to me for all kinds of reasons. I complained to GEARBEST Customer Services, but they're delaying the answer for 2 weeks. They're not serious.

SCAMMER ALERT!!! DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE

About 3 months ago I bought new electric bike, seller sent me and it was really bad, alot of scratches, defected controller and etc. Decided to contact seller and got ignored for 3 months after finally they replied to me that I can send it back for a refund and guess what? I shipped and now they claim that they didnt get it, even tho DPD provides that seller contact person received it :)) Dont buy, worst store ever.

This company are dodgy as hell

This is a scam operation. I ordered an e bike and they did not dispatch it for weeks. No customer service contact or response to messages.When I complained via paypal they sent me a fake tracking confirmation and claimed that my bike was delivered!
Luckily I caught them out because their fake tracking note showed the e bike was dispatched 3 days before my order. This helped the case to fall in my favour.

Has anyone ever been able to contact these people? Pressing the submit a ticket does nothing. They are always "too busy" on their 24/7 "Live chat". Ordered an item over a month ago. Last tracking info also over a month old.

Never buy for this site... The "we will answer a ticket is useless, 4 months and plenty of tickets and the problem unsolved yet, and looks like will never be! Fake support, useless client support! Fernando

It took 2 months to get my last order. I have always been able to submit a ticket but do not always get an answer. One time they closed my ticket and when I posted my problem on SiteJabber they reopened it but never resolved the issue. The ticket has been sitting open for 2 months waiting for them to respond..

I found they do respond BUT because they sit in China they are outside any power of jurisdiction, therefore they pretty much dictate the terms of any support offered, so be careful. For me they gave the ultimatum of "deal with it or forfeit your item without refund" which is pretty much telling me to bugger-off. Good luck.

GearBest try to deceive their customers? That's what happened with me, after 3 month waiting and procrastination from gearbest, I decided to open case with PayPal, then They tricked me with their promise that they will send me a new shipment for free, and after I close the case with PayPal they start In wasting time, and finally they delete my account with them. My advice There are many cheaper and trusted sites, I confirm Again GearBest not trustworthy, and Definitely not the Best.

I made 5 orders, everything was delivered. 1. All products without fakes. 2. PayPal payment 3. Sending with a track number is mandatory for tracking. (Often beztrekovye parcels disappear through the fault of the mail itself and not the store) 4. The first order made for the child asked to send sooner to catch the time before the holidays. All done.

Depends on definition of scam, the same as definition of Con jobs... They lure you in with statements like ships within 3-5 days from receiving payment. But actually they do not ship until 3-4 weeks after they get their money. So their scam is They have your money interest free, while they are making money on it, for 3-4 weeks. Also, I paid their extra shipping fee to get it a bit faster, but they still ship the slowest they can, so in addition to the interest from the use of my money, I paid for the shipping when they claim it is Free. For example they got paid December 9th, they claim that they shipped it the 26th, However their tracking number shows that the shipping company still has not received the package. It seems like they have been using my money to pay their previously shipped goods, and then they wait for another sucker to pay for my product and ship it and so on.

Good Luck getting your stuff. I waited for months, contacted the Better Business Bureau and they didn't respond to them either. Never did get my purchase but I did finally get a refund. They will keep telling you to wait and wait and wait - that is when you can get ahold of them but don't count on that either. Wish you the best but next time pick someone reputable.

There is no customer service the only way i was able to get my money back is to do a claim via paypal and post to this site... gearbest finally responded to one of my tickets after the paypal claim and i advised i will be informating authorities they are frauds.

Can we the consumer get together and push the scammer off edge of the cliff? They are day light rubbers and in this day and age we should not allow it to happen. It is very frustrating see them con more and more people. We can stop them!

Well just to let you know gearbest is owned by someone in china and there is no owner infor for the web site, the tracking number or order number will not help you since they have no customer service in place, I know they have contact us avenue's but they don't work I did eventually get my order and tried to cancel before I got it because it was part of a halloween costume and received it end of last week but was not able to cancel due to no way to cancel on their site they also have a return option that I'm sure isn't worth a damn either, hopefully you did not spend much with this company we all need to put the word out to stay away from this company but I'm sure they would just start up another company with a new name and continue screwing the consumer, I will be investigating the next company very closely next time sorry about your issue.
